German DLV (Deutscher Luftsportverband) Glider Pilot´s Dagger. Model 1934 - 1st version. This early DLV Glider Pilot's Dagger is in near mint condition. This early Helbig example appears to be of initial production. A superior Glider Pilot's Dagger here which should go very nicely with an advanced collection. Blade in fantastic condition, nicely maker marked with the logo of Steinbach. Blue scabbard and grip in very good condition with minor signs of age. Tombak parts in very good condition, minor sigsn of age or dents. Scabbard marked with the DLV logo. Complete with leather hanger. All screws intact. Nice overal patina. In the case of this example the short hanger has been period replaced.
