Ultra rare Kriegsmarine harbor pilot flag size 1,0 x 1,4 m. The larger the flag, the larger the ship the pilot was escorting. Flag is printed linen, marked "Lotsen - Flg. 1.0 X 1.4" with braided rope with a swivel ring anchor at the top loop and a D ring anchor at the bottom loop. Colors are strong and no holes. Rare flag in near mint condition.
This type of flag was flown on naval ships when there was a pilot on board.
