DAF Unit Flag (Deutsche Arbeitsfront Fahne). The double sided flag has a red wool base with a separate, machine stitched black DAF cogwheel with white center showing a mobile black swastika, sewn to the center of each side of the flag. There are seven aluminum rings present to hang the flag on a dowel, all rings are nicely marked L&H/37. The flag is trimmed with silver fringe around the edges. The flag is sized approximately 120 x 138 cms. There is no unit patch attached to the flag so the flag was probably in unissued condition when a US GI took it home as a souvernir. This flag was recently found in the USA. The flag has couple of small holes but is in overall very good condition. Very nice and decorative original piece!
