Textbook war K98 bayonet maker marked and dated S/172 1940 indicating production by Carl Eickhorn. The bayonet is matching to its scabbard with the serial 8780 h The bayonet retains 100% of its original blueing and would be impossible to upgrade. Along with bayonet comes nearly mint frog.
