Extremely well preserved later production (1938-1942) SA dagger made by company Gustav C. Spitzer, Solingen. Dagger comes wit its original horizontal hanger. Blade is nearly perfect with full crossgrain and deep dark etching. Sacbbard original brown painted. All fittings are steel plated. Crossguards are zinc plated. Honestly this one is a good choice for the collection.

A typical parade and ceremonial weapon carried by members of the Sturmabteilung (SA)—the paramilitary militia of the NSDAP. The SA service dagger, pattern 1933 (SA-Dienstdolch M33), is one of the most striking symbols of the Third Reich's visual propaganda and military structure. Its creation and evolution are directly linked to the history of the Brownshirts and the internal power struggles within the Nazi Party. The dagger was introduced in December 1933 by SA Chief of Staff Ernst Röhm, shortly after the NSDAP came to power. The dagger's design was not modern—Professor Woenne of Solingen deliberately based it on a 16th-century Swiss hunting dagger (the so-called Holbein dagger).
