SS Waffen M 42 smock. Reversible, in rauchtarn camouflage (blurred edges) pattern.
It has normal signs of use in field conditions and a few period modifications. The sleeves were shortened, which was a common practice. The pockets were removed. For some reason, the foliage loops were reduced on each side from three to two. The smock has internal elastic bands at the waist and sleeve cuffs, but they are dried out and not very stretchy. This is a very rare and highly valued item in the collectors' market. This one has a genuine field vibe, which certainly adds to its collectible value.
