This is a WWII German Waffenmeister armourer’s MG34 / MG42 machine gun tool kit. They were used in the field by German armourer's to maintain and repair the MG34 and MG42 machine guns. No tools inside. The kit was cleverly designed to fit into a standard ammunition box. A rare set!
